Obituary for James Floyd "Jim" Cox

James Floyd "Jim"  Cox
James Floyd Cox, 62, of Spicewood, Texas, succumbed to colon cancer at his daughter's home surrounded by his family March 21, 2015.

Jim is survived by his two children, Jill Eddleman and her husband Keith of Buda, Texas, and Justin Cox and his wife Amber of Cypress, Texas; three grandchildren; his sister Nancy Crandall and her husband Don of Muskegon, Michigan; and three nephews.

Jim was born on April 12, 1952 in Gary, Indiana to Lawson and Lela Cox. He moved his family to Texas in 1981 to work for Tomlinson Oil Company. Jim was also employed by Grant, Baker Hughes, JD Edwards and Weatherford throughout his career.

Jim enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, boating and waterskiing, and riding his motorcycle.

Interment will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Morocco.
