Obituary for Homer Williamson

Homer Williamson, 85, a longtime resident of Morocco, passed away Sunday morning, March 29, 2015 at Vibra Hospital in Crown Point. He was born in Kentucky on February 11, 1930, the son of the late John and Annie Williamson.

Homer was a farmer and worked for many years for Churchill Farms. He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by: one sister, Easter Williamson of Rensselaer; nieces and nephews: Mitchell Williamson (Debra) of Mt. Ayr, Justin Williamson (Tammie) of Remington, Delores Agent of Rensselaer, Ann Cowley (Steve) of Lake Village, and Margie and Larry of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, John and Annie Williamson; and his brother-in-law, Troy Williamson.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery with Jim Michal officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family. Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer is handling the arrangements. Share memories and condolences online at www.SteinkeFuneralHome.com.
