Obituary for Sharon Kay Conley (Fontaine)

Sharon Kay Conley, 72, of Rensselaer, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the Rensselaer Care Center, surrounded by her family. She was born in Rensselaer on December 15, 1945, the daughter of Richard and Ardith (Reed) Fontaine.

On April 5, 1963, in Rensselaer, she married her husband of 55 years, Delmas Conley. Sharon was a homemaker. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, listening to gospel music and caring for her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her loving family: her husband, Delmas Conley of Rensselaer; one son, Randy (Shelly) Conley of Rensselaer; two daughters, Tama (Leonard) Larson and Tonya (Roger, Jr.) Black of Rensselaer; one brother, DeWayne (Libby) Fontaine of Wolcott; one sister, Diane (Herman) Stone of Rensselaer; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Richard and Ardith Fontaine; and two brothers, Ronald Fontaine and Richard Leon Fontaine.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. (CDT) at Bible Baptist Church, 722 N. Summer St., Rensselaer, IN 47978. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor David Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
