I didnt know Betty all that well but found out so much more about her reading her columns; they were always fun and informative and was so sad when they were discontinued; what a mistake the Republican made. I'll always keep the poems she sent me with her cards......RIP Betty

We are so heartbroken to hear the news about Betty. Betty was a part of our lives for many many years. She took great pride in holding down the fort and taking care of Jaimee & Justin, and the whole neighborhood for that matter. She was a part of our family. Our hearts and prayers go out to Betty's entire family. We found out over the years just how important each and every one of you were to her. Her family was everything to her and fortunately she made us a part of her family. She was such a great lady. She will be dearly missed.
