Obituary for Wilma Arletta Brunton (Stoner)

Wilma Arletta  Brunton (Stoner)
Wilma Arletta Brunton, age 99, of Morocco, Indiana departed this life on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Franciscan Health Rensselaer. Wilma was born to George and Ella Stoner on September 27, 1917. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Keith Brunton, and son Dale “Buzzy” Stoner. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.

Wilma was a very active member of the Evangelical Methodist Church. She was a very generous and loving person. Some of the things she did were to put a sprinkling system in Oakland Cemetery, along with a well, and funds to sustain it. She had the Dale “Buzzy” Stoner Skateboard Park, along with a basketball court and walking path built in memory of her son who died in an automobile accident at the age of 19. She donated to the Morocco Public Library. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Morocco First United Methodist Church. Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery, Morocco, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Dale “Buzzy” Stoner Skateboard Park.
