Amy Kathleen Jackson
Amy Kathleen Jackson, 46, of Valdosta, Georgia, formerly of Morocco, Indiana, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. She was born in Crown Point, Indiana on September 23, 1969, daughter of Dorothy (Sierakowski) Myers and the late William Myers, Jr. She graduated from North Newton High School with the class of 1987. She moved to Georgia two years ago. She worked as a waitress for Cracker Barrel Restaurant.

Amy is survived by her two children, Nathan (Nikki) Myers of Hahira, Georgia and Kathryn (Kory) LaPorte of Valdosta, Georgia; two grandsons, Kole Jackson-LaPorte and Jayce LaPorte of Valdosta, Georgia; her mother, Dorothy Myers of Morocco, Indiana; one brother, William (Soni) Myers III of Morocco, Indiana; two sisters, Alison (Ross) Hollingsworth of Morocco, Indiana and Andrea (Jeff) Brown of Lafayette, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William Myers, Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 12-2 p.m. (CDT) at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco with Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Memorials may be made to the family.
