Obituary for Ethel Louise Plaster (Frasch)

Ethel Louise  Plaster (Frasch)
Ethel Louise Plaster, 93, of Morocco, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at George Ade Memorial Health Care Center in Brook. She was born in Pine Village, Indiana on May 6, 1922, daughter of the late W. Rolla Frasch and Ada (Jones) Frasch.

Louise graduated from Pine Village High School and Indiana State Teachers College (Indiana State University) in Terre Haute. She taught school in Newton County for many years, teaching at Mount Ayr, Morocco, South Newton and North Newton. She retired on June 1, 1982.

On July 14, 1945, Louise married Herman H. Plaster. He preceded her in death on November 9, 1999. Her second marriage was to Floyd Buckles. He also preceded her in death.

Louise was a member of the Morocco First United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She had served as a 4-H Leader, a Cub Scout Leader and Boy Scout Leader. She enjoyed camping and was a former member of the Holiday Rambler RV Club. She also enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.

Louise is survived by her three children: Gary H. Plaster (fiancé: Julie), Susan A. Pantos (Rich Botelho), and Michael D. Plaster (wife: Susan); six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents, W. Rolla and Ada Frasch; her first husband, Herman H. Plaster; her second husband, Floyd Buckles; her brother, James Wesley Frasch; and her sister, Gladys Garber.

Visitation will be Friday, April 22, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. (CDT) at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco with Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
