Obituary for Diana L. Raisanen (Griebe)
Diana L. Raisanen, 67, of Morocco, passed away at her home September 17, 2015. She was born in East Chicago, Indiana on March 26, 1948, the daughter of the late Max and Irene Griebe. In 1969 she married Ralph H. Raisanen, Jr. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2010.
Diana worked for Hallmark Surfaces cabinet company in South Chicago Heights for many years, retiring in 2005. She enjoyed Facebook, playing games on her computer, and she was a big Green Bay Packers fan.
Diana is survived by two sons: Ralph (Kelli) Raisanen III and Steven (Judy) Raisanen; three sisters: Geraldine Shults, Cleo Baker and Glenda Dolliver; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Ralph; a daughter, Kimberly Griebe; two sisters: Bernie Haaksma and Mildred Hensley; and three brothers: Max, Jerry and Bernard Griebe.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 26, 2015 from 1-3 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 3 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Williams officiating.
