Obituary for Marie Guzman
Marie E. Guzman, 86, of Canton, Georgia, passed away at her home July 3, 2015. She was born in Long Beach, New Jersey, November 18, 1928, daughter of the late Armond and Helen (Kribs) Dumas. She was a resident of Morocco for 30 years.
She married Dr. Marcelino F. Guzman. Marie attended St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Indianapolis and worked as a Registered Nurse along side her husband. She attended St. Augusta Catholic Church. Marie enjoyed taking care of her grand kids, spending time with family, gardening and traveling.
Marie is survived by her loving family: sons Marc Guzman of Atlanta, Ga; Dr. Michael and Dr. Marla Guzman of Indianapolis, In; Richard and Debbie Guzman of Winder, Ga; Robert Guzman and Fiance Kateryna Vera of Marietta, Ga; John and Mary Jane Guzman of Marietta, Ga; seven grandchildren; brother Paul Guzman of Houston, Tx. She is preceded in death by her husband Marcelino Guzman.
Graveside interment service will be held July 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. (CST) at Oakland Cemetery in Morocco with Father Sandhage officiating. Share memories and condolences on line at www.SteinkeFuneralHome.com
