Allan B. Lundquist, 89, of Morocco, IN, formerly of Riverdale, beloved husband of the late Birgit V. nee Nygardh, loving father of Sandra (late Ronald) Postawa, Sheila (Michael) Scott and the late Karen (late Thomas) Altenhoff, cherished grandfather of Thomas Altenhoff, Jennifer (Steve) Altenhoff Sheaffer, Michael Postawa, Michelle Postawa and Brittany Scott, proud great grandfather of Nathan, Kadence, Anthony and Kamden, fond brother of the late Sonia McMurchie, dear uncle and adored "morfar" of many. USMC veteran serving in WWII and Korea, retired Civil Engineer of the Chicago Housing Authority.
Allan was a member of the American Legion Post #146 of Morocco, IN, VASA Order of America and the Harald #13 Viking Lodge of Tinley Park. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking and soccer. Allan was a cross country skier and participated in Silver Skates of Chicago.

Visitation will be held Thursday April 3 from 3:00 pm. until 7:00 pm CDT with an American Legion Service at 7:00 p.m. at Krueger Funeral Home in Blue Island, Illinois.
