Howard J. Eddy, age 65 of Morocco, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009 at Jasper County Hospital in Rensselaer. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 15, 1944, son of the late Howard and Lucille (Boyer) Eddy. Howard grew up in Chicago and graduated from the Chicago Public Schools. He had been a Morocco resident for the past 37 years. On October 31, 1964 in Chicago, he married Sylvia Frank who survives. Howard was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served his Country in Vietnam. He was a member of the Morocco American Legion Post #146 and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Beaverville, Illinois. He was owner/operator of Howard J. Eddy & Associates in Morocco, retiring in 2006. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Mary Eddy of Fishers, Indiana and Danielle Dull of California. Two grandchildren also survive: Jakob and Peyton Dull of California. His parents preceded him in death. Memorials are suggested to the Brad Hillis Scholarship Fund. Friends may call from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 308 Saint Charles St., Beaverville, Illinois. Funeral services will be at the Church at 4:00 PM with Father Robert Coleman officiating.
