Holli K. LaCosse, 32, of Wheatfield, passed away unexpectedly at her home Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. She was born in Brook on June 3, 1980, daughter of Jeffrey LaCosse and the late Chris (Hanger) LaCosse.

A 1998 graduate of North Newton High School, Holli worked as a bartender and was studying to become a paralegal at Brown-Mackey College in Merrillville. She was passionate about Breast Cancer Awareness and was involved with Relay for Life. She wore her Breast Cancer Awareness ribbon everywhere she went.

Holli is survived by three children, Autumn Sunshine LaCosse (Father: Bill Brown), Brock Mackey and Brooklyn Mackey (Father: Tom Mackey), all of DeMotte; her boyfriend, Bryan Luketic of Wheatfield; her father, Jeff LaCosse (wife: Marcy) of Monticello; and her brother, Matthew LaCosse (wife: Sunshine) of Morocco. She was preceded in death by her mother and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at Steinke Funeral Home of Morocco, with Rev. Greg Waggoner officiating. Interment will follow at Prairie Vine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Holli’s children.
