Ruby Fay Dailey, 95, of Morocco, passed away Dec. 25, 2012 at the Rensselaer Care Center. She was born in Marshall County, Kansas on Nov. 16, 1917, daughter of the late J. W. and Myrtle (Campbell) Robinson.

Ruby had been a resident of Harvey, Illinois until about two years ago when she moved to Morocco. She worked as a retail clerk until her retirement. Ruby enjoyed reading, writing in her journals, and growing flowers. She will be fondly remembered for her wonderful sense of humor.

Ruby is survived by a daughter, Melinda Morrison (husband: Galen) of Minco, Oklahoma, and a son, Terry Squyres (wife: Sue) of Morocco. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Robert Dailey, and two sons, John Squyres and Skip Melton.

A memorial service for Ruby will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lions Club, 705 N. Polk Street in Morocco. Memorials are suggested to the family. Share memories and condolences online at SteinkeFuneralHome.com.
